Yocaher Rider Feature: Ryan Sechrest

So I started skateboarding in 2004, I was racing dirt bikes and four wheelers but I was growing bored with it. My friend across the road had an old skateboard and I would go over to his house to skate.

The best part about skateboarding is the art that every skater contributes. You can see the same trick over and over but ever skateboarding will make it look different.

The biggest struggle I had was the first 4 years I skated. I grew up in a small farm town in Missouri. We didn’t have a skatepark for a long time and if I wanted to skate I had to find rides 13 miles into town. I had no concrete to skate so we got a trampoline and practiced our tricks on that.

My favorite trick to do right now is probably fakie smith grinds on ramps.

I’d probably tell myself to try harder because one day you’ll have an awesome board sponsor called Yocaher!

My all time favorite graphic is the camo. Im from the country and still live that way so I was super excited to see a camo graphic.
