slim kick review
One look sold me on the route 66 series drive in graphics. I own a 55 chevy belair and now my board is sportin a 55 too. I was looking for a pintail cruiser with a classic surf board look and beach scene graphics. It was a tough choice between the versatility of a kicktail versus the cool factor of the pintail. So I bought both decks. The pintail is a basic sturdy platform with little flex, exactly what I wanted to cruise the 100 plus miles of bike paths in my area. 3/8 inch risers under 50 cal. trucks offer a tight turning radius. The74mm 78A Sector 9-ball wheels roll easy over rocks sticks and thumbs that litter the road. The slim kick could be a tad wider so I used the Sector 9 off set wheels. The front wheels are mounted wide track style and the rear wheels are set inboard. this tucks in the raer wheels so my feet don't burn em on the carves. Angled risers under avenue suspension trucks, 74 mm 9-balls, big balls bearings. It's a cruisers dream.
